This month, we would like to highlight Amy Pheiffer, a women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP) at Peoria Women’s Health!
Amy Pheiffer, WHNP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Methodist College of Nursing in Peoria, Illinois, in 2009. Following graduation, she has worked over 8 years as a Registered Nurse on the Postpartum and Level 2 Nursery at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. While working as an RN, she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing in 2015 from the University of Illinois-Chicago, where she specialized in women’s health care.
Women’s health nurse practitioners specialize in continuing and comprehensive healthcare for women of all ages. Typically, a women’s health nurse practitioner is experienced in managing women’s normal obstetrical and gynecological needs from adolescence and continuing through pregnancy and up until menopause.
Amy is passionate about providing holistic and compassionate care to women throughout their lifespan. When she is not caring for patients at Peoria Women’s Health, Amy enjoys traveling and spending time with family. She lives with her husband, Ryan, and her son, Brayden.
